Ingredients
- ground pork – 500 g / 1 lb
- ground beef – 500 g / 1 lb
- onion, finely chopped – 1 medium / 150 g
- garlic cloves, minced – 2 cloves
- breadcrumbs – 200 g / 2 cups
- milk – 120 ml / 1/2 cup
- Eggs – 6 large
- paprika – 2 tsp
- salt – 1 tsp
- black pepper – 1 tsp
- parsley, chopped – 2 tbsp
- vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a pot, place 4 eggs and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes. Cool and peel the eggs.
- In a large bowl, mix ground pork, ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, remaining 2 eggs, paprika, salt, pepper, and parsley until well combined.
- Line a loaf pan with parchment paper or grease it with vegetable oil.
- Place half of the meat mixture in the loaf pan, creating a trough in the center, and lay the 4 hard-boiled eggs in a line.
- Cover with the remaining meat mixture, ensuring the eggs are fully enclosed.
- Smooth the top and brush with vegetable oil for a nice glaze.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the meat is cooked through.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
