Ingredients

  • Phyllo dough sheets – 12 sheets
  • Cottage cheese – 2 cups / 480 g
  • Feta cheese – 1 cup / 240 g
  • Plain yogurt – 1 cup / 240 g
  • Eggs – 3 large
  • Butter – 1/2 cup / 115 g, melted
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, crumble the feta cheese and mix it with cottage cheese, yogurt, eggs, and salt until well combined.
  3. Grease a large baking dish with some melted butter.
  4. Lay two sheets of phyllo dough in the baking dish, brushing each with melted butter.
  5. Spread a portion of the cheese mixture over the phyllo sheets.
  6. Repeat the layering process, finishing with a top layer of phyllo brushed with butter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and crispy.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
