Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chili flakes, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Add chopped anchovies and capers. Stir until anchovies dissolve into the oil.
  4. Toss in the cooked spaghetti, using reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce as needed.
  5. Mix in chopped parsley and lemon zest, season with salt and black pepper.
