Ingredients
- Corn tortillas – 8 pieces
- Quesillo cheese – 200 g / 7 oz
- Butter – 2 tbsp / 30 g
- Salt – to taste
- Chopped fresh cilantro – 2 tbsp / 8 g
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Place a corn tortilla in the skillet and add 50 g of quesillo cheese on one half.
- Fold the tortilla over and cook for about 2 minutes, pressing gently, until the cheese begins to melt.
- Flip the tortilla and cook for an additional 2 minutes until golden brown.
- Repeat with the remaining tortillas and quesillo, adding more butter to the skillet as needed.
- Sprinkle each with a pinch of salt and chopped cilantro before serving.
