Ingredients

  • Phyllo dough – 500 g
  • Feta cheese – 200 g, crumbled
  • Parsley – 1/2 bunch, finely chopped
  • Eggs – 2, beaten
  • Milk – 1 cup / 240 ml
  • Butter – 150 g, melted
  • Salt – to taste
  • Black pepper – to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the crumbled feta cheese with chopped parsley, one egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Grease a large baking tray with a portion of the melted butter.
  4. Layer the phyllo dough sheets in the tray, brushing each with melted butter.
  5. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  6. Continue layering with phyllo sheets, buttering each layer.
  7. Mix the remaining egg with milk and pour over the top layer.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
