Ingredients
- Phyllo dough – 500 g
- Feta cheese – 200 g, crumbled
- Parsley – 1/2 bunch, finely chopped
- Eggs – 2, beaten
- Milk – 1 cup / 240 ml
- Butter – 150 g, melted
- Salt – to taste
- Black pepper – to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix the crumbled feta cheese with chopped parsley, one egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Grease a large baking tray with a portion of the melted butter.
- Layer the phyllo dough sheets in the tray, brushing each with melted butter.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Continue layering with phyllo sheets, buttering each layer.
- Mix the remaining egg with milk and pour over the top layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
