Ingredients
- shrimp, peeled and deveined – 1 lb / 450 g
- olive oil – 2 tbsp / 30 ml
- garlic, minced – 2 cloves
- ground cumin – 1 tsp / 2 g
- chili powder – 1 tsp / 3 g
- lime, juice and zest – 1 large
- corn tortillas – 8
- red cabbage, shredded – 2 cups / 140 g
- cilantro, chopped – 1/4 cup / 15 g
- avocado, sliced – 1 large
- sour cream – 1/2 cup / 120 g
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, lime juice, and zest. Add shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they’re pink and opaque.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet or directly over a low flame on the stovetop.
- Assemble the tacos: Place cooked shrimp onto each tortilla, top with shredded cabbage, cilantro, avocado slices, and a drizzle of sour cream.
- Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
