Ingredients

- Sugar – 2 tbsp / 30 g
- Salt – 1 tbsp / 15 g
- Nori sheets – 5 full sheets
- Fresh tuna – 200 g / 7 oz
- Fresh salmon – 200 g / 7 oz
- Cucumber – 1 medium
- Soy sauce – For serving
- Wasabi – For serving
- Pickled ginger – For serving
Instructions
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Once cooked, let it cool slightly.
- Mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small bowl, then gently fold into the rice.
- Lay a nori sheet on a bamboo rolling mat, spread a thin layer of rice over the nori, leaving a small margin.
- Place slices of tuna, salmon, and cucumber across the center of the rice.
- Use the mat to carefully roll the sushi into a tight cylinder, applying gentle pressure.
- Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces with a sharp knife.
- Serve sushi with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
