Ingredients

  • Pork shoulder – 1 lb / 450 g
  • Smoked sausage – 1/2 lb / 225 g

  • Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • Bay leaves – 2
  • Paprika – 2 tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Water – 4 cups / 960 ml

  6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 90 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
