Ingredients
- mushrooms – 2 cups / 150 g
- green chili peppers – 2, sliced
- onion – 1 medium, sliced
- garlic – 3 cloves, minced
- tomato – 1 large, chopped
- Bhutanese cheese or feta – 1 cup / 150 g, crumbled
- butter – 2 tbsp / 28 g
- water – 1 cup / 240 ml
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the green chilis and tomatoes; cook until the tomatoes soften.
- Add the mushrooms and water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the cheese, let it melt and blend with the other ingredients.
- Serve hot with rice.
