This pastry is a cousin to the more famous Sfogliatella from Naples, yet it carries its own unique flavor and texture profile. Traditional recipes include sheep’s ricotta and preserved flavors, creating a sumptuous taste that mirrors the rustic charm and warmth of its origins.
