- In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the lemon zest and vanilla extract.
- Add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients, followed by the egg mixture.
- Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, adding the softened butter gradually.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 2 hours or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Gently deflate the dough and shape it into a round loaf. Place it on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
