Ingredients
- Pork loin slices – 8 slices / 600 g
- Prosciutto – 8 slices / 120 g
- Parmesan cheese, grated – 1 cup / 100 g
- Fresh basil leaves – 16 leaves
- Garlic, minced – 2 cloves
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp / 30 ml
- Tomato sauce – 2 cups / 480 ml
- Salt – to taste
- Black pepper – to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped – 2 tbsp / 8 g
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Lay the pork slices flat and place a slice of prosciutto on each.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and place two basil leaves on top of the prosciutto.
- Carefully roll up each pork slice and secure with a toothpick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the pork rolls and sear until golden brown on all sides.
- Pour the tomato sauce over the rolls, season with salt and pepper, and bring to a simmer.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
