Ingredients

  • Pork loin slices – 8 slices / 600 g
  • Prosciutto – 8 slices / 120 g
  • Parmesan cheese, grated – 1 cup / 100 g
  • Fresh basil leaves – 16 leaves
  • Garlic, minced – 2 cloves
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp / 30 ml
  • Tomato sauce – 2 cups / 480 ml
  • Salt – to taste
  • Black pepper – to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped – 2 tbsp / 8 g

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Lay the pork slices flat and place a slice of prosciutto on each.
  3. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and place two basil leaves on top of the prosciutto.
  4. Carefully roll up each pork slice and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  6. Add the pork rolls and sear until golden brown on all sides.
  7. Pour the tomato sauce over the rolls, season with salt and pepper, and bring to a simmer.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
