- phyllo dough – 1 package / 500 g

- salt – 1 tsp / 5 g
- black pepper – 1 tsp / 2 g
- paprika – 1 tsp / 2 g
- water – 1/4 cup / 60 ml
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp of oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent.
- Add the ground beef, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- In a clean workspace, lay out the phyllo dough and keep it covered with a damp towel to prevent drying.
- Brush each sheet of phyllo with oil, layer three sheets in the baking dish, and spread a portion of the meat mixture on top.
- Repeat the layering process until all the meat and phyllo sheets are used, finishing with a layer of phyllo on top.
- Lightly brush the top with oil and sprinkle some water to ensure crispiness.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
