Ingredients
- beef sirloin – 1 pound / 450 g

- cornstarch – 2 tablespoons / 16 g
- vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons / 30 ml
- garlic cloves – 3 cloves, minced
- ginger – 1 inch piece, minced
- sugar – 1 teaspoon / 4 g
- oyster sauce – 1 tablespoon / 15 ml
Instructions
- Thinly slice the beef against the grain and coat with cornstarch.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sugar, and oyster sauce.
- Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Fry beef until browned.
- Add garlic and ginger, stir briefly, then add peppers.
- Pour in the sauce mixture, stir-fry for another 3 minutes.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
