Ingredients

  • all-purpose flour – 3 cups / 360 g
  • unsalted butter – 1 cup / 225 g
  • powdered sugar – 1 cup / 120 g
  • vanilla sugar – 1 packet (7.5 g)
  • baking powder – 1 teaspoon / 4 g
  • egg yolk – 1 large
  • milk – 3 tablespoons / 45 ml
  • salt – a pinch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg yolk, vanilla sugar, and milk until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mix, stirring until a dough forms.
  6. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until lightly golden. Allow to cool before serving.
