Ingredients

  • Lo Mein noodles – 10 oz / 280 g
  • Soy sauce – 3 tbsp / 45 ml
  • Oyster sauce – 2 tbsp / 30 ml
  • Sesame oil – 1 tbsp / 15 ml
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp / 30 ml
  • Garlic, minced – 3 cloves
  • Ginger, minced – 1 inch piece
  • Bell pepper, sliced – 1 medium
  • Carrot, julienned – 1 large
  • Broccoli florets – 1 cup / 150 g
  • Green onions, sliced – 2
  • Cooked chicken, sliced – 8 oz / 225 g

Instructions

  1. Cook the Lo Mein noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  5. Add bell pepper, carrot, and broccoli to the pan and cook until vegetables are tender-crisp, about 4-5 minutes.
  6. Stir in the cooked chicken and noodles, tossing to combine.
  7. Pour the sauce mixture over the noodles and toss until everything is well-coated and heated through.
  8. Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.
