- instant yeast – 1 packet / 7 g
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar.
- Dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Gradually add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients, followed by olive oil, stirring to form a soft dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and mix in the herbs until evenly distributed.
- Divide dough into 4-6 portions, roll each into a circle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook each bread for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
