- Semolina – 2 tablespoons / 20 g
- Warm milk – 1/2 cup / 120 ml
- Ghee – 2 tablespoons / 30 ml
- Salt – A pinch
- Grated coconut – 1 1/2 cups / 120 g

- Cardamom powder – 1 teaspoon
- Chopped nuts (cashews, almonds) – 1/4 cup / 30 g
- Poppy seeds – 1 tablespoon / 10 g

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, semolina, and a pinch of salt. Gradually add warm milk and 1 tablespoon of ghee to form a firm but smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- For the filling, roast the grated coconut in a dry pan over low heat until lightly browned. Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder, chopped nuts, and poppy seeds. Stir to combine and then remove from heat.
- Divide the dough into small lemon-sized balls. Roll out each ball into a small, thin circle.
- Place a spoonful of the coconut filling in the center of each circle. Fold the circle into a half-moon shape and seal the edges well, trimming excess dough for a neat finish.
