- soda water – 60 ml / 1/4 cup
- salt – 1 tsp
- black pepper – 1/2 tsp
- cumin – 1 tsp
- butter – 15 g / 1 tbsp, for grilling
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine grated onion, ground beef, and ground lamb.
- Add bread crumbs, soda water, salt, black pepper, and cumin. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Cover the mixture and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Shape the mixture into small oval patties.
- Heat a grill or frying pan over medium-high heat and melt the butter.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through and nicely browned.
