Ingredients
- fresh shrimp – 1 lb / 450 g
- squid – 1 lb / 450 g, cleaned and sliced into rings
- garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- ginger – 1-inch piece, finely chopped
- scallions – 3, sliced
- soy sauce – 2 tbsp / 30 ml
- rice wine – 2 tbsp / 30 ml
- fish sauce – 1 tbsp / 15 ml
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp / 30 ml
- black pepper – 1 tsp / 2 g
- coriander leaves – 1/4 cup / 15 g, chopped
- lemon wedges – For serving
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add shrimp and squid to the skillet; cook until the shrimp turns pink and the squid is opaque and tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce, rice wine, and fish sauce, cooking for another 2 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Top with scallions and black pepper, tossing well to incorporate.
- Garnish with chopped coriander and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
