Ingredients
- canned tuna – 1 cup / 150 g
- grated coconut – 1/2 cup / 50 g
- onion, finely chopped – 1 small / 85 g
- green chili, finely chopped – 1 small
- lime juice – 1 tablespoon / 15 ml
- all-purpose flour – 1 1/2 cups / 180 g
- water – 1/2 cup / 120 ml
- salt – 1 teaspoon / 5 g
- coconut oil – for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the canned tuna, grated coconut, onion, green chili, and lime juice.
- In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, water, and salt to form a smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into small portions and roll into balls.
- Flatten each ball into a disc, add a spoonful of the tuna mixture in the center, and seal to form a dumpling.
- Heat coconut oil in a pan and fry the dumplings until they are golden brown.
- Serve warm with chutney or dipping sauce.
