Ingredients

  • rutabagas – 2 lbs / 900 g
  • heavy cream – 1 cup / 240 ml

  • butter – 1/4 cup / 56 g
  • ground nutmeg – 1/2 teaspoon
  • ground ginger – 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt – 1 teaspoon
  • white pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
  • eggs – 2, beaten

Instructions

  2. Peel and chop the rutabagas into chunks and boil in salted water for 30 minutes or until soft.
  3. Drain and mash the rutabagas until smooth.
