Ingredients

  • sea salt – 1 1/2 tsp / 9 g

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour and instant yeast.
  2. Gradually add the warm water while stirring with a wooden spoon until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Add in the olive oil and salt, mixing until the dough comes together.
  4. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough back into a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  7. Once risen, gently punch the dough down and transfer it onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Stretch the dough out into a thin, even layer, using your fingers to create dimples across the surface.
  9. Drizzle with additional olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
