Ingredients
- cumin seeds – 2 tablespoons / 12 g
- Greek yogurt – 1 cup / 245 g
- olive oil – 2 tablespoons / 30 ml
- lemon juice – 1 tablespoon / 15 ml
- honey – 1 teaspoon / 7 g
- salt – 1/2 teaspoon / 3 g
- freshly ground black pepper – 1/4 teaspoon / 1 g
Instructions
- Toast the cumin seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Allow to cool slightly.
- Grind the toasted cumin seeds using a mortar and pestle or a spice grinder to a fine powder.
- In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, ground cumin, olive oil, lemon juice, honey, salt, and black pepper.
- Whisk all ingredients together until smooth and well-blended.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
- Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
