Ingredients
- wonton wrappers – 24 pieces

- garlic powder – 1 teaspoon
- oil – for frying
- salt – 1/4 teaspoon
- black pepper – to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, soy sauce, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wrappers with water, then fold them into triangles or bring corners together to pinch into a purse shape.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or a deep saucepan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the wontons in small batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
