Ingredients
- paneer – 400 g
- green bell peppers – 2 large / 240 g
- onion – 1 large / 150 g
- ginger-garlic paste – 1 tablespoon / 15 g
- soy sauce – 3 tablespoons / 45 mL
- chili sauce – 2 tablespoons / 30 mL
- vinegar – 1 tablespoon / 15 mL
- cornflour – 2 tablespoons / 30 g
- salt – to taste
- black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon / 2 g
- vegetable oil – 4 tablespoons / 60 mL
- green chilies – 2, sliced
- spring onions – 2 stalks, chopped
Instructions
- Cut the paneer into bite-sized cubes.
- Mix cornflour with a pinch of salt and dust paneer cubes with the mixture.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the paneer cubes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add remaining oil and sauté ginger-garlic paste until fragrant.
- Add chopped onions, green bell peppers, and sliced green chilies. Stir-fry until vegetables are just tender.
- Add soy sauce, chili sauce, vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Gently fold in the fried paneer and mix well to coat with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
