Ingredients

  • Ground pork – 500 g / 1.1 lbs
  • Yellow onion – 1 medium, grated
  • Garlic cloves – 2, minced
  • Bread crumbs – 100 g / 1 cup
  • Eggs – 2 large
  • Carrot – 1 small, grated
  • Parsley – 2 tbsp, chopped
  • Thyme – 1 tsp, dried
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Vegetable oil – For frying

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, grated onion, minced garlic, bread crumbs, eggs, grated carrot, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small patties, about the size of a golf ball, and flatten them slightly.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
  4. Cook each side for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Drain the patties on paper towels before serving hot, with a side of your choice.
