This savory bread, often filled with spiced meat or cheese, occupies a special place in Turkish bakeries and homes. Known for its soft and pillowy texture, cantık is traditionally baked in a stone oven, giving it a rustic and flavorfully charred crust. This dish is perfect as a satisfying lunch or as an accompaniment to a lavish Turkish dinner spread.
