- garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
- cumin powder – 2 teaspoons
- turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
- coriander powder – 2 teaspoons
- vegetable oil – 3 tablespoons
- beef broth – 4 cups / 960 ml
- salt – to taste
- black pepper – to taste
- bay leaves – 2
- fresh cilantro, chopped – for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until they become translucent.
- Stir in ginger and garlic paste, cooking for an additional minute.
- Add beef chunks and brown them on all sides.
- Mix in cumin, turmeric, and coriander powder. Stir thoroughly.
- Add tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes, stirring to combine.
- Pour in beef broth and add bay leaves. Season with salt and pepper.
