Ingredients
- Snails – 500 g / 1.1 lbs
- Spaghetti – 400 g / 14 oz
- Tomato sauce – 2 cups / 480 ml
- Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp / 30 ml
- Parsley – 1/4 cup / 15 g, chopped
- White wine – 1/2 cup / 120 ml
- Salt – to taste
- Fresh ground black pepper – to taste
Instructions
- Clean the snails thoroughly under running water.
- In a large pot, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the snails and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Pour in white wine and allow it to simmer until reduced by half.
- Add tomato sauce, salt, and pepper, stir well, and let it cook for another 10-15 minutes.
- Toss the cooked spaghetti with the snail sauce.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
