Ingredients
- pasta (square-cut łazanki) – 300 g / 10.5 oz
- white cabbage – 400 g / 14 oz
- smoked kielbasa sausage – 250 g / 9 oz
- mushrooms – 200 g / 7 oz
- onion – 1 medium, chopped
- butter – 2 tbsp / 28 g
- olive oil – 1 tbsp / 15 ml
- salt – to taste
- black pepper – to taste
- fresh dill – for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are browned and their moisture evaporates.
- Stir in the kielbasa slices and cook until they are slightly crispy.
- Add the cabbage to the skillet and cook until softened, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Mix the drained pasta with the cabbage mixture, ensuring everything is well combined. Cook for another 2 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
- Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped dill.
