Ingredients
- beef tenderloin – 2 lbs / 900 g
- soy sauce – 1/2 cup / 120 ml
- sesame oil – 2 tbsp / 30 ml
- garlic – 5 cloves, minced
- sugar – 2 tbsp / 25 g
- ground black pepper – 1 tsp / 5 g
- green onions – 2, chopped
- sesame seeds – 2 tbsp / 20 g
Instructions
- 1. Slice the beef tenderloin into half-inch thick medallions.
- 2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, sugar, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- 3. Add the beef slices and chopped green onions to the marinade, mixing thoroughly to coat. Allow it to marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- 4. Preheat a grill pan on medium-high heat.
- 5. Grill the marinated beef medallions for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking.
- 6. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
