- Beef broth – 2 cups / 480 ml
- Elbow macaroni – 2 cups / 200 g
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp / 15 ml
- Worcestershire sauce – 1 tbsp / 15 ml
- Paprika – 1 tsp / 5 g
- Dried Italian herbs – 1 tsp / 2 g
- Salt – to taste
- Black pepper – to taste
- Cheddar cheese, shredded – 1 cup / 100 g
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and ground beef, cooking until the beef is browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and dried Italian herbs. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, add elbow macaroni, stir to combine, and reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes until the pasta is tender.
- Stir occasionally to prevent sticking, then uncover and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. Allow it to melt slightly and serve hot.
