Ingredients

  • chicken wings – 2 lbs / 900 g
  • mayonnaise – 1 cup / 240 g
  • apple cider vinegar – 1/4 cup / 60 ml
  • lemon juice – 2 tbsp / 30 ml
  • horseradish – 1 tbsp / 15 g
  • garlic powder – 1 tsp / 5 g
  • onion powder – 1 tsp / 5 g
  • salt – 1 tsp / 5 g
  • black pepper – 1/2 tsp / 2.5 g
  • cayenne pepper – 1/4 tsp / 1 g
  • olive oil – 2 tbsp / 30 ml

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, horseradish, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Whisk until smooth to create the Alabama white sauce.
  3. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Drizzle them with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place wings on the grill and cook for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and golden brown.
  5. In the last 5 minutes of grilling, brush the wings with a generous amount of Alabama white sauce.
  6. Remove from grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with extra sauce on the side.
