Ingredients

  • chicken breasts – 4 pieces
  • sliced ham – 4 slices
  • Swiss cheese – 4 slices
  • all-purpose flour – 1 cup / 120 g
  • eggs – 2, beaten
  • bread crumbs – 1 cup / 120 g
  • salt – 1 teaspoon
  • black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
  • vegetable oil – for frying

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts between two plastic wraps and pound them until thin, around a quarter of an inch thick.
  2. Season the chicken with salt and black pepper.
  3. Place a slice of ham and Swiss cheese on each chicken breast. Roll them tightly and secure the ends with toothpicks.
  4. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs in separate shallow dishes.
  5. Coat each chicken roll in flour, dip in eggs, and roll in bread crumbs until thoroughly coated.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken rolls until golden brown and cooked through, approximately 8-10 minutes per side.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
