Ingredients

  • Camembert cheese – 250 g / 9 oz
  • Soft butter – 50 g / 1.7 oz
  • Cream cheese – 60 g / 2 oz
  • Chopped onions – 50 g / 1.7 oz
  • Paprika powder (sweet) – 1 tsp
  • Caraway seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper – to taste
  • Beer (optional) – 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Remove the Camembert from the fridge and let it sit at room temperature to soften.
  2. In a bowl, mash the Camembert with a fork until smooth.
  3. Add the butter, cream cheese, chopped onions, paprika, and caraway seeds, and mix until well combined.
  4. If desired, add the beer for a subtle kick and adjust consistency.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Cover and let the mixture rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
