Ingredients
- all-purpose flour – 2 cups / 250 g
- instant yeast – 1 tsp

- salt – 1/2 tsp
- warm water – 3/4 cup / 180 ml
- egg – 1, beaten
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
- canned tuna – 1 cup / 200 g
- red chilies – 3, finely chopped
- shallots – 2, finely chopped
- garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- curry powder – 1 tsp
- coconut milk – 1/4 cup / 60 ml
- lime juice – 1 tbsp
- vegetable oil for frying – as needed
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm water, beaten egg, and oil. Knead until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- In a pan, heat oil. Sauté shallots, garlic, and chilies until fragrant. Add tuna, curry powder, and coconut milk. Cook for 5 minutes. Stir in lime juice, then remove from heat.
- Divide dough into 12 portions. Roll each into a circle. Place filling on one-half, fold over, and crimp edges to seal.
- Heat oil for frying. Fry pastries until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
