Ingredients

  • fresh egg noodles – 500 g / 1.1 lbs
  • ground pork – 250 g / 0.55 lbs
  • white onion, sliced – 1 large
  • garlic, minced – 4 cloves
  • green cabbage, shredded – 200 g / 7 oz
  • soy sauce – 1/4 cup / 60 ml
  • black pepper – 1 tsp
  • egg – 4, fried
  • scallions, chopped – 2 stalks
  • water – 2 cups / 480 ml
  • oil – for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook the fresh egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Fry the four eggs and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté the garlic and onions until fragrant.
  4. Add ground pork and cook until browned.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and water, stir to combine.
  6. Add shredded cabbage, allowing it to cook until wilted.
  7. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss everything together.
  8. Season with black pepper to taste.
  9. Top with the fried eggs and garnish with chopped scallions before serving.
