Ingredients

  • large shrimp, peeled and deveined – 1 pound / 450 g
  • unsalted butter – 1 cup / 226 g
  • breadcrumbs – 1 cup / 120 g
  • fresh garlic, minced – 4 cloves
  • shallot, finely chopped – 1 medium
  • lemon juice – 2 tablespoons / 30 ml
  • dry white wine – 1/4 cup / 60 ml
  • fresh parsley, chopped – 1/4 cup / 15 g
  • salt – 1 teaspoon
  • black pepper, freshly ground – 1/2 teaspoon
  • cayenne pepper – 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic and chopped shallots. Sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the lemon juice and white wine. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, black pepper, and cayenne. Stir until fully combined.
  5. Arrange the shrimp in a baking dish. Pour the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the shrimp are cooked through.
