Ingredients
- large shrimp, peeled and deveined – 1 pound / 450 g
- unsalted butter – 1 cup / 226 g
- breadcrumbs – 1 cup / 120 g
- fresh garlic, minced – 4 cloves
- shallot, finely chopped – 1 medium
- lemon juice – 2 tablespoons / 30 ml
- dry white wine – 1/4 cup / 60 ml
- fresh parsley, chopped – 1/4 cup / 15 g
- salt – 1 teaspoon
- black pepper, freshly ground – 1/2 teaspoon
- cayenne pepper – 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic and chopped shallots. Sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in the lemon juice and white wine. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in the breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, black pepper, and cayenne. Stir until fully combined.
- Arrange the shrimp in a baking dish. Pour the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the shrimp.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the shrimp are cooked through.
- Serve hot with a sprinkle of additional parsley if desired.
