Ingredients
- Roasted almonds – 1 cup / 150 g
- Argan oil – 1/2 cup / 120 ml
- Honey – 1/4 cup / 85 g
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
Instructions
- In a food processor, grind the roasted almonds until you achieve a coarse texture similar to almond meal.
- Slowly drizzle in the argan oil while the processor is running, allowing the mixture to become smooth and creamy.
- Add the honey and salt, blending until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated. Adjust the sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
- Transfer the amlou to a clean jar and store it in the refrigerator. Allow it to sit at room temperature before serving to achieve the best spreading consistency.
