Ingredients
- Fresh lasagna sheets – 9 sheets
- Ricotta cheese – 1 cup / 240 g
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded – 1 cup / 120 g
- Parmesan cheese, grated – 1/2 cup / 50 g
- Cooked ham, thinly sliced – 200 g
- Tomato sauce – 2 cups / 480 ml
- Olive oil – 2 tablespoons / 30 ml
- Salt – to taste
- Black pepper – to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread each lasagna sheet with ricotta cheese, a slice of ham, a sprinkle of mozzarella, and a dash of parmesan.
- Roll each lasagna sheet gently into a tight roll.
- Slice each roll into 3-4 slices to create nest-like spirals.
- Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place the spirals cut-side up in the baking dish.
- Top each spiral with the remaining tomato sauce and parmesan cheese.
- Drizzle olive oil on top and season with salt and black pepper.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until golden and bubbling.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
