Ingredients

  • green cabbage – 1 medium head / 1 kg
  • potatoes – 2 large / 500 g

  • vegetable broth – 4 cups / 960 ml
  • bay leaves – 2 leaves
  • caraway seeds – 1 teaspoon / 2 g
  • salt – to taste
  • black pepper – to taste
  • fresh parsley – for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chop the cabbage into fine shreds and rinse under cold water.
  2. Peel and dice the potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Thinly slice the onion and mince the garlic cloves.
  4. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant.
  5. Add the shredded cabbage, diced potatoes, bay leaves, and caraway seeds to the pot. Stir well to combine.
