Ingredients

  • Avocados – 2 ripe / 400 g
  • Lime juice – 2 tablespoons / 30 ml
  • Red onion (finely chopped) – 1/4 cup / 40 g
  • Cilantro (chopped) – 1/4 cup / 16 g
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon / 2.5 g
  • Freshly ground black pepper – 1/4 teaspoon / 0.5 g
  • Tomato (diced) – 1 small / 120 g
  • Garlic (minced) – 1 clove / 3 g
  • Jalapeño (optional, finely chopped) – 1 / 15 g

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add lime juice immediately to prevent browning.
  3. Mash the avocado with a fork until desired smoothness is reached.
  4. Mix in the red onion, cilantro, salt, pepper, tomato, garlic, and jalapeño.
  5. Stir until evenly combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
