Cheese Quiche, or Quiche au Fromage, is a classic dish originating from the Lorraine region of France. This savory pie is celebrated for its rich and creamy custard filling, typically made with a harmonious blend of cheeses such as Gruyère, Comté, or Emmental, ensconced in a buttery, flaky pastry crust. The dish beautifully exemplifies French cuisine’s ability to transform simple ingredients into sophisticated dishes. Ideal for brunch or a light dinner, cheese quiche has become a beloved staple in homes and cafes worldwide.
