Ingredients

  • Sausages – 8 pieces / 500 g
  • Thick cut bacon – 200 g / 7 oz
  • Potatoes – 1 kg / 2.2 lbs
  • Onions – 2 large / 300 g
  • Chicken broth – 4 cups / 960 ml
  • Salt – 1 tsp / 6 g
  • Black pepper – 1/2 tsp / 2 g
  • Parsley – for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the sausages over medium heat until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add bacon to the skillet and cook until crispy. Remove and drain excess fat.
  4. Layer potatoes, onions, sausages, and bacon in a large casserole dish.
  5. Pour chicken broth over the top. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Cover with a lid and bake in the preheated oven for 2-3 hours, until potatoes are tender.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
