  • Canned tomatoes – 14 oz / 400 g
  • Tomato paste – 2 tbsp / 30 g
  • Green olives – 1/2 cup / 75 g, sliced
  • Raisins – 1/4 cup / 40 g
  • Cumin – 1 tsp / 2 g
  • Oregano – 1 tsp / 2 g
  • Salt – 1 tsp / 5 g
  • Black pepper – 1/2 tsp / 2 g
  • White wine – 1/4 cup / 60 ml

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Add the canned tomatoes and tomato paste, mixing well.
  5. Stir in the sliced olives, raisins, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour in the white wine and let simmer for 15-20 minutes until the mixture thickens, stirring occasionally.
  7. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
