Ingredients

  • Pork loin – 1 lb / 450 g
  • Kaymak – 1/2 cup / 120 g
  • Eggs – 2 large
  • Breadcrumbs – 1 cup / 100 g
  • Flour – 1/2 cup / 60 g
  • Garlic powder – 1 tsp / 5 g
  • Salt – 1 tsp / 5 g
  • Black pepper – 1/2 tsp / 2.5 g
  • Vegetable oil – for frying

Instructions

  1. Pound the pork loin slices to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  2. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Spread a layer of kaymak across the center of each slice and roll tightly.
  4. Secure with toothpicks if necessary.
  5. Dredge each roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry each schnitzel until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
