Ingredients
- ground beef – 500 g / 1.1 lbs
- ground pork – 500 g / 1.1 lbs
- onion – 1 large / 150 g, finely chopped
- garlic cloves – 3, minced
- paprika – 2 tsp
- salt – 1.5 tsp
- black pepper – 1 tsp
- baking soda – 1/2 tsp
- sparkling water – 2 tbsp
- vegetable oil – for grilling
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, finely chopped onion, and minced garlic.
- Add paprika, salt, black pepper, baking soda, and sparkling water to the meat mixture. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Form the mixture into large, flat patties about 1 cm thick.
- Heat a grill or a heavy pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
- Serve hot with your choice of sides like fresh salad or grilled vegetables.
