Ingredients
- Beef chunks – 2 pounds / 900 g
- Potatoes, peeled and cubed – 3 large / 500 g
- Carrots, sliced – 3 large / 300 g
- Onions, chopped – 2 medium / 250 g
- Green beans, chopped – 1 cup / 150 g
- Tomatoes, diced – 3 large / 400 g
- Garlic cloves, minced – 4 cloves
- Beef broth – 4 cups / 950 ml
- Vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons / 30 ml
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper – 1 teaspoon
- Paprika – 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef chunks to the pot, stirring occasionally until browned on all sides.
- Remove the beef and set aside. In the same pot, add onions and garlic; sauté until onions are translucent.
- Return the beef to the pot. Add tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, and green beans.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Cover and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until meat and vegetables are tender.
- Serve hot and enjoy this hearty stew!
