Ingredients
- Pork shoulder – 1 lb / 450 g
- Pork ribs – 1 lb / 450 g
- Sausages – 4 pieces
- Onion – 2 medium, chopped
- Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- Flour – 2 tbsp / 16 g
- Bay leaf – 2 leaves
- Caraway seeds – 1 tsp / 2 g
- Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp / 30 ml
- Salt – to taste
- Black pepper – to taste
- Water – 4 cups / 960 ml
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add the pork shoulder and ribs, frying until browned on all sides.
- Add the sausages to the pot and cook until slightly browned.
- Sprinkle flour over the meat and mix to coat evenly.
- Pour in the water and add the bay leaves and caraway seeds. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
- Serve hot with draniki or fresh bread.
